SaaS Platform for Parametric 3D Configuration & Modular Design
The Product
Frameyoke is a specialized SaaS platform engineered for the 3D printing community, makers, and commercial print farms. It provides an intuitive interface for users to customize and generate modular chassis systems for shadow boxes and dioramas. Based on a precise mathematical grid, the system allows the configuration of frames with true depth, supporting up to three internal channels for multi-layered physical projects.
The Engineering Behind It
Developing a real-time 3D configuration tool requires moving beyond standard web development. To ensure a seamless user experience, we architected a highly decoupled cloud environment:
- Decoupled Architecture:We separated the high-speed web application layer from the heavy computational workload.
- Dedicated Processing Engine:The core 3D generation relies on a dedicated backend rendering engine (hosted on robust bare-metal infrastructure) designed to execute complex OpenSCAD parametric scripts and process heavy geometric calculations on demand.
- Complex Billing Workflows:The ecosystem integrates advanced payment logic, supporting both secure one-time transactions for hobbyists and recurring subscription tiers for commercial licensing.
